Sir — This refers to the article, “Dysfunctional House, diseased Government” (March 4) by A Surya Prakash. The level of discussions has come down in politics because of the degradation in the intellectual capability of our politicians.
They are becoming more myopic day by day, and this is affecting their quality of thoughts and hence their actions. The competition among political parties has resulted in a state where the parties derive pleasure in pulling one another down rather than solving a particular issue. Our Parliament has turned into a fish market.
