Sir — This refers to Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s comments that an “Emergency-like situation” is prevailing in the national capital, following the arrest of Delhi law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar on charges of possessing a fake degree. This type of over-the-top reaction is common for the Aam Aadmi Party. The matter is being investigated and the action taken against Mr Tomar is in accordance with the law. If anything, it is the AAP leadership and the Government it leads that should answer how a person with a fake degree was appointed.
