This refers to the editorial, “The failed earth quake” (January 13). Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi time and again targets the Prime Minister. He says achche din will come when the Congress returns to power. The Congress was in power for most of the past 70 years, but the people suffered. There was neither development nor employment. The rich continue to be richer while the poor got included in the ‘below the poverty line’ definition. Corruption was the order of the day. People wanted a change and voted for the BJP in 2014.
Now the Congress is finding fault with every move of the Modi Government. The ruling dispensation at the Centre is opposed for no reason, for all its acts. Even sections of the media are holding trials on every issue, right from supposed intolerance to demonetisation. The Congress cannot come to power in 2019 if Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team continue with their good work.
