Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Bruised and battered” (December 9).The most notable fact which has emerged from the stunning results of the four Assembly elections is the worst-ever performance of the Congress.
In Delhi, the grand old party won only eight seats. Another revealing aspect is that out of the eight winning candidates, five are from Muslim-dominated areas. In other words, the Congress has been reduced to being a Muslim-centric outfit, thanks to its vote-bank politics.
