Sir — This refers to the article, “Of failing narrative, rising desperation” (March 22) by Navneet Anand. The writer’s argument that Adityanath Yogi has come to be the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh through a democratic process, and not by entitlement, can make one oblivious of the fact that the people of Uttar Pradesh actually voted for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his promise for inclusive development — Sabka saath, sabka vikas.
However, it is expected that the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh will not forget that aspirations and mandate of the people are for a vikas purush for all, including the downtrodden. He has a challenging role ahead.
