Governance focus

N Ramamurthy
Sir — This refers to the report, “Wanted: A house for Mr Kejriwal” (January 14). The residence of a Chief Minister is usually more than just a place of dwelling. Since the Chief Minister is a 24x7 sevak, his/her home-office needs to be adequate in size.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should stop populist stunts and concentrate on delivering good governance. He has long accused Delhi’s private power distribution companies of graft. But his decision to cut electricity tariffs by 50 per cent hasn’t affected their profitability. Now, the Delhi Assembly needs to pass the additional subsidy bill, and this is where the Congress will come into play.
The aam aadmi doesn’t care about the number of rooms in Mr Kejriwal’s home. They only want his Government to deliver.
