Sir — This refers to the news report, “Buoyant AAP ‘chills’, BJP still confident” (February 9). Notably, despite having projected itself as a major contender in the Delhi Assembly poll, the Congress does not even feature in the election discourse. If the exit polls are true, the Congress will have no role whatsoever to play even in the Opposition. It will face the unique dilemma of ‘supporting’ the BJP, if it opposes the Aam Aadmi Party. It cannot afford not to do either, as that will mean a total abdication of its role. A strange position indeed, for the once grand old party!
