Sir — This refers to the report, “Want to serve Guj till 2017” (September 6). Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has rightly reiterated his determination to fulfil his responsibilities to the people of Gujarat who have supported him in the past and continue to do so whole-heartedly, jailed IPS officer DG Vanzara’s explosive letter notwithstanding.
If the BJP wants to oust the corrupt Congress-led UPA regime, it must stop dithering on naming its prime ministerial candidate. If the party fails to be decisive now, then it should reconcile itself to remaining in the Opposition in 2014 as well, and with a fewer number of seats.
