Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Fighting a terror outfit” (July 15). India should learn from Israel on how to counter terror outfits. It is time that the international community realises the progress made by terrorist forces, especially in Islamic countries, and take firm, pre-emptive and pro-active measures to curb, control and contain these elements.
This does not mean that Israel can continue to kill innocent Palestinians in Gaza. It has to stop the mayhem and ensure that the innocents are not targeted in their fight against Hamas.
