Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Needless brouhaha” (November 2). The editorial has rightly said that the so-called liberals are beating their chests over the killing of eight SIMI activists by security forces.
The militants were accused of heinous terror crimes like murder, blasts in various parts of the country, bank robberies, jail-break etc. It is discouraging that, while the liberals call anti-India militants innocent, they fail to symphatise with the security guard who was killed by the militants before they escaped.
