Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Better late than never” (December 24). The last few lines of the editorial summarises the crux of the matter. The amended law for juvenile justice is not going to eradicate juvenile crimes in our country. It can only provide a check. No law can eliminate such crimes, committed either by juveniles or by adults. On top it, we have to ponder over the effect of growth of the population.
