Sir — In an attempt to express the ordeals he faced in shooting, Bollywood actor Salman Khan, during the shoot of Sultan, said that he felt like a raped woman walking out. Khan’s comparison is definitely in a poor taste. To cover up his mistake, he has said that he was misquoted. But the audio tape has ample of evidence to suggest that he said what he has been quoted as saying. Instead of treading the path of denial mode, he should tender an unconditional apology and close the issue. The controversial remark need not be taken too far since it serves no national interest.
