This refers to the editorial, “Disregard for the truth” (April 27). The Italian court’s judgement in the AgustaWestland controversy has made it amply clear that the firm lobbied with Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her close associates. Meanwhile, the Congress, now in the Opposition, is running short of issues to attack the BJP Government for its lapses.
Instead, the grand old party has itself been providing material to the treasury benches to attack the top leadership of the party for its corrupt deals that are now coming into the limelight.
