This refers to the explosion at a building in Madhya Pradesh’s Jhabua district. This incident is a stark reminder of the fact that the Government has a flawed policy with regards to storage of explosives, detonators and gelatin sticks.
This tragedy is also a grim reminder of illegal explosives thriving in the market. The law enforcement agencies have completely ignored this sensitive matter and have failed to stop rampart smuggling of explosives. The Government should take lessons from this tragedy and take preventive steps to stop smuggling of explosives.
