Sir — Mayawati’s threat to convert to Buddhism should be worrying for the BJP. The allegations by Mayawati are substantiated by incidents of inhuman behaviour shown by upper caste Hindus towards Dalits. Instead of blaming Mayawati and accusing her of playing politics in the name of Dalits, the Government should work for SC upliftment.
