While Delhi Police has charged Shah with ‘planning a conspiracy’ to carry out terror attacks in the capital, J&K Police has claimed that the alleged militant was returning to Kashmir to surrender.
The conflicting statements of police forces are a matter of concern to our security agencies. The Union Ministry of Home Affairs needs to take the issue seriously. let us see what the probe that it has ordered into the claims and counter-claims leads to. This unnecessary war of words must end and the controversy over the issue of liaquat Shah should be immediately resolved.
