Union Minister for Human Resource Development Smriti Irani’s revelation that there are 22 fake universities operate across the country, is indeed disgraceful for our educational system and democracy. These fraudulent institutions are active in our country for many years and successive Governments’ apathy, to wind up these establishments, should be condemned. An apex level-probe can unveil the role of the big guns of politics/bureaucracy involved in this scam.
