Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Note-worthy decision” (November 10). The Modi Government has taken a firm decision to curb black money and to stop fake currency from circulation. Measures like this will help eradicate poverty.
Wealth and resources are concentrated in the pockets of the influential. This is dangerous for the progress of the nation. Furthermore, black money is largely circulated in the corporate sector, real estate, healthcare business and education sectors. This demonetisation measure will surely weed out black money from these sectors.
