BJP must review some of its recent decisions

SG

This refers to the article, “On Netaji file, official response big let-down” (August 29) by Ashok Malik. The Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be shooting its foot every day. Soon enough, it will get a strong opposition to bring it down. Fifteen months is enough period to begin setting things right. It's time the party and its Government acted and prepared for battles with the Opposition for the development of the nation.

It seems the articulate party president Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are failing to understand public sentiment on these matters. Of course, the Opposition wasn't going to allow them to work in as holistic a manner as they would have liked. The Congress especially has an agenda to wreak havoc and spread fear among the people, the markets and the investors. This way, it can present itself as the only party that can rule with stability. The BJP will not have that luxury; the faster its senior leadership understands the better.
