Sir — Many politicians indulge in obnoxious speeches and hate-mongering, only to rubbish or justify them later, once the media glare comes on them. Congress and Samajwadi Party leaders are experts at such nonsense. But, at a time when people want Mr Narendra Modi to become the Prime Minister, BJP’s leaders must be careful with what they say because their rivals will twist even the slightest remark which may qualify as hate speech.
