The behaviour of Indian parliamentarians, who have been shouting from their seats, raising slogans and rushing to the well of the House, is utterly disgraceful and undemocratic. They are causing a huge loss of several crores of rupees to the public exchequer. Every disrupting Member of Parliament must be penalised to recoup the loss from wasting Parliament’s valuable time. The money can be used for developmental projects and the well-being of the nation.
