Sir — The death of Sarabjit Singh soon after his family crossed the Wagah border back into India is no coincidence. Pakistani authorities never allowed either Sarabjit Singh’s kin or even Indian diplomats to enter the Intensive Care Unit where he was being treated, or else, they would have known that the patient was long gone.
But given the UPA’s diplomatic record, no one expected Sarabjit Singh to return home alive. Be it Pakistan, China, Sri lanka or even the Maldives, the UPA regime has been spineless in its dealings with each of these countries, under the garb of diplomatic niceties.
