Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Some hope for Rohingyas” (February 9). It is true that the Rohingya minorities in Myanmar have been oppressed deliberately in the name of rooting out jihadis by the military. Though now, Myanmar’s Deputy Defence Minister is talking about a solution, we have to see what he has in mind for the minority community. If he is sincere about what he has said, then those responsible for the number of people killed or harassed, must be held accountable.
