Sir — This is with reference to the article, “AAPsurge scripts New Delhi politics” (December 9) by Rajesh Singh. One must congratulate the Aam Aadmi Party for its stunning debut in Delhi. Mr Arvind Kejriwal has demonstrated his organisational capabilities and the financial power to back his tactical plans in Delhi’s Assembly election. It will be a mistake to discount the AAP as a mere regional phenomenon.
Smart campaigner that he is, Mr Kejriwal outsmarted both the Congress and the BJP. The main Opposition should now reflect hard on how not to cede further political space to the AAP at the national level.
