Sir — This refers to the editorial, “MCD result fact-check” (April 27). On the pattern of winning civic polls in Odisha and a majority of municipal corporations in Maharashtra, coupled with an overwhelming performance in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Assembly elections, has come the triumphant news of the BJP winning the Municipal Corporation of Delhi election with anti-incumbency factor coming to a naught.
It is a rational science formula that heavy articles sink in water, but in daily life, including politics, its reverse holds true. The Aam Aadmi Party is a perfect example as its chief, Arvind Kejriwal, left no stone unturned to tarnish Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image from questioning his educational qualification to criticising his demonetisation decision, to EVM manipulation.
It is the nature’s law that once who goes on zenith has also to get down on the ground one day and Kejriwal’s political down fall has vindicated the veracity of this adage.
