Sir — This refers to the editorial, “New regime at midnight” (July 3). The National Democratic Alliance Government at the Centre must be congratulated for announcing the country’s biggest tax reform in the form of the Goods and Services Tax (GST). Confusion abounds relating to tax imposition all over the country over various issues concerning the businesses and some States.
This should be considered another most historic achievement of Modi Government. It may resolve the crisis of dwindling economy of the country due to tax evaders since independence.
