Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Tunnel of hope, bonding” (April 4). Tourism is the main business in Jammu & Kashmir, which gives employment and business to crores of people. This business can flourish only when there is peace and tranquility. India has always thought that peace can be made by sincerely addressing grievances. It must, therefore, take a cue from those instances and resolve the Kashmiri conundrum.
Countries across the world must unite to fight terror so that the innocent people of Kashmir can leave in peace and not in pieces. It should also be the responsibility of every citizen to cooperate with the Government as well as our Armed Forces to make the State terror free and peaceful. Good governance and good policy will address the problem to a very large extent.
