Course correction

OP Gupta

This refers to the article, “Understanding the importance of Kashmir” (August 20) by Hiranmay Karlekar. India’s Pakistan policy has been aimless and based on self-illusions. We must do a course correction anchored in ground realities, so as to be able to take advantage of the internal dissensions in Pakistan.

In Jammu & Kashmir, we must also engage in an information war to win the minds and hearts of the people. The Modi Government has wasted its first two years in power by mis-judging Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
