This refers to the editorial, “Must stay the course” (November 21). As expected, the new ministry in Bihar is dominated by the RJD. Both sons of RJD chief lalu Prasad were handed over important portfolios, as if no other MlA was more capable and deserving for the positions.
Earlier too, lalu Prasad played behind the curtain, by crowning his wife Rabri Devi as the Chief Minister of Bihar, when he was under attack in the fodder scam.
lalu Prasad’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav could not even take his oath in one go. Perhaps, it is time for massive reforms in the political system, where some minimum educational qualification can be fixed for those contesting the elections.
