Sir — This refers to the article, “Waiting for the has-been to become has gone!” (February 23) by Chandan Mitra. The writer has excellently put in perspective the controversy surrounding Mr Amartya Sen’s tenure at the Nalanda University. The sooner we see the backs of such pseudo-intellectuals, who do no good for the country but are very willing to pontificate and preach, the better it will be.
