Sir — We need not take Sakshi Maharaj seriously when he exhorts Hindus to raise the number of children to four. Unfortunately, we in India have a strange political mindset. It oscillates between appeasement and criticism. For pseudo-secularists, Hindus are meant for criticism and dislike. Even the past Hindu glory is either a myth or a subject of doubt, worth forgetting. Had some Muslim cleric given a similar call to that of Sakshi Maharaj, none would have criticised him for fear of losing votes.
Has the Congress or like-minded parties ever objected to the illegal influx of Bangladeshi MuslimsIJ Instead, they have reportedly helped the illegal immigrants by enlisting their names as genuine voters. Why is the Congress against enacting a law to combat forced or induced conversionsIJ Has the Congress ever introspected on why Kashmir was lost to the militants and the Kashmiri Pandits had to flee, when there was an elected Government in Jammu & KashmirIJ
Also, what is wrong in introducing a Uniform Civil Code to bring uniformity in civil laws for different communitiesIJ let us not see every issue from the saffron prism.
