Sir —This refers to the article, “Taking a leaf out of our grand history” (May 26) by Anirban Ganguly. The author has effectively countered former West Bengal Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi’s open letter against Mr Narendra Modi, ridiculing him and his policies.
In his own open letter to Mr Gandhi, the writer has reminded him how Mr Modi, belonging to an ordinary, poor family, was espousing the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and C Rajagopalachari, the former Governor’s grandparents.
