Sir — It is intriguing that while large sections of the media have highlighted Mr Arvind Kejriwal’s ‘terms’ to the Congress and the BJP on issues that have no relevance to the basic question of his forming a Government, they have failed to point out the absurdity (perhaps deliberate) of Mr Kejriwal demanding 10 days to respond to the lieutenant Governor, when he could not have been unaware that the new Assembly has to be constituted before December 18.
There was no way the lt Governor could have prolonged the political hiatus by allowing him such a long period of time. Mr Kejriwal has apparently created this smoke screen only to promote himself and his ‘message’ for public consumption, knowing that his request was untenable.
