A girl, resident of Pisava police station area has approached the police alleging that the youth from the same village had raped her in the name of marriage. According to the victim, five years ago, a youth from a community forcibly dragged her into the forest and raped her. He then threatened to kill her if she tells someone.
When the victim tried to complain to the police, the family of the accused youth silenced her by giving her the assurance of marriage with him, since then the youth continued to exploit the girl.
When the victim came to know that he was going to get married somewhere else then the girl went to the police station with the family members and pleaded for justice. Station in-charge Sudhir Kumar said that proper action will be taken after the investigation.
