Worried over couple of suicide incidents from pro-quota agitation supporters, jailed PAAS convener Hardik Patel warned that he would withdraw himself from the reservation agitation even if one more Patidar youth commit suicide in connection with reservation stir. He mentioned this in the hand-written letter which was seized by the police.
The letter is now in circulation over social media, Hardik has termed the act of suicide by Patel youths as ‘cowardice’. He has written in the letter addressed to media that his agitation which was not only in the interest of his community but the society in general needed youth’s support and not cowardice acts like suicide.
