Will trusted aide of YSR too join TDP?

Omer Farooq

Even after losing 7 of its MlAs and one MlC to the ruling TDP, troubles  were far from over for the YSR Congress Party.

Even as speculations were continuing that many more legislators of YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s party were making a beeline to the ruling party, Suridu, the former personal secretary to Jagan’s father YS Rajasekhar Reddy today met TDP national president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada.

Suridu, who was the right hand man of YSR for decades till his death in 2009 is believed to be a goldmine of information about the deals of YSR family.

Ever since the death of YS Rajasekhar Reddy in a helicopter crash in September 2009, Suridu was completely marginalised and had distanced himself from the family. Speculations were rife that he was also likely to join the TDP.
