Children of those killed in Maoist violence will be offered admission in nearby schools or schools of their choice, officials stated. Besides, the children, who were maimed in Maoist attacks will be given admission in the schools in nearby areas, they stated.
In this context, School Education Minister, Kedar Kashyap has issued directives to the State Project Offices of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and Directorate of Public Instruction to take immediate action. “Study of no child should be affected due to death or injury to the head of his/her family in Naxal attack. The State Government took the aforesaid decision while keeping this in mind,” said Kashyap.
