PNS

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav reiterated his commitment to ensuring the welfare of the people in the State. In his reply to the debate on the Supplementary Budget, which was passed in the UP Assembly on Thursday, the CM said, “Our Government was not spending the funds on memorials, parks or statues. We are concerned for the welfare of the people and were committed to do so.”

The CM had tabled the first Supplementary Budget for the current fiscal to the tune of Rs 7112.39 crore in the House on Wednesday.

However, the CM blamed the previous BSP Government on the law and order front and even said that more riots and deaths had occurred during the BSP regime as per the record between 2007-09. “We are concerned about the law and order situation in the State and more work is required on this agenda. I am hopeful that situation will improve in the coming days,” he claimed.
