UP BJP to hold anti-Govt stir from June 22

PNS

Gearing up for the Assembly elections, the BJP has decided to hold anti-Government agitations from June 22 to 30 to highlight Samajwadi Party Government’s failures. “People are fed up with the misrule of the Samajwadi Party Government. They want a change. The BJP would be the alternative to the Samajwadi Party Government because people want good governance and party has shown this in its last one year rule,” BJP’s in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Om Mathur said.

Mathur held a series of meetings with party workers apprising them of the achievements of the Modi Government and asked them to spread the good message among the public. “The Union Government has launched many pro-people policies. The Government has released over Rs6,000 crore for sugar mill farmers and has also initiated projects through Jan Dhan Yojana to bring the poor in the main stream,” Mathur told party office-bearers here on Friday.

Party’s State president laxmi Kant Bajpai in his address to the office-bearers said the party will hold workshop to educate leaders about ‘Beti Bachchao Beti Padhao’ campaign. Social organisations will also be asked to popularise this project, he said. Mathur will stay put in UP for next two days and will have interaction with the leaders.
