Three suspects have been detained in Rajasthan’s Kota in connection with the firing on actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai, according to reports on Monday. The men were traced to the Railway Colony area in the city, and one is reportedly from Bihar.

The attack took place near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu on Sunday evening as Shroff was leaving after playing football. Police said five rounds were fired at his vehicle. Shroff escaped without a bullet injury, while his driver and another man were injured and taken to hospital.

CCTV footage reportedly captured two suspected shooters near the scene. Investigators said the attackers abandoned their motorcycle outside Andheri railway station before fleeing Mumbai. Fifteen police teams were deployed, and the investigation was transferred to the Mumbai Police Crime Branch.

Police are expected to question the detained men about who planned the attack, the logistical support they received and the motive behind the shooting.

A purported social media post linked to alleged Lawrence Bishnoi gang operatives claimed responsibility for the attack. Mumbai Police have not verified the post or established the gang’s involvement. The probe is also examining whether the attackers tracked Shroff’s routine before waiting outside the football ground.
