People of Jupally Village in Kalwakurthy Assembly constituency in Mahbubnagar district will again line up on Monday morning to cast their votes as the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) used in earlier polling broke down completely and their votes could not be counted.
Election Commission ordered the repoll following the report of the State Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwarlal that the engineers of Electronic Corporation of India could not repair the machine and failed to retrieve its memory.At the end of the counting, Congress candidate Vamsichan-dra Reddy was leading by 157 votes over his BJP rival. Now the polling of Jupally Village will decide the final winner.
