The National Human Rights Commission has taken cognizance of the teenager’s case who took her life after being raped in the Harduaganj area six months ago. In this case, the SSP was asked to appear in person.

Ghaziabad advocate Aamir Hussain is a human rights activist who raised this issue to the Human Rights Commission. He said that this incident shocked society. It involved the rape of a 17-year-old teenager in which the Panchayat sentenced the accused to be slapped with shoes five times and then set them free.

This insult and injustice compelled the teenager to end her life. He said that everyone has the right to live. It is the biggest crime to make life-ending situations for anyone.

On this, the commission has asked the Aligarh SSP to appear personally and submit the progress report of the case.
