Newly appointed Chief Minister Hemant Soren along with other family members visited Rajrappa temple on Monday and sought divine blessings from ‘Maa Chinnamastike’ days before the floor test. He also vowed to work in the interest of masses with the support of the legislators without any preconceived notions against anyone.

“There is no hurdle to proving my majority on the floor of the House,” said a confident Soren while coming out of the temple.

later, the Chief Minister in a hurriedly issued press release said the dreams for the people of the State were incomplete after 13 years of its formation. “We have to learn from the mistakes committed in the past and complete the pending works and create an atmosphere for all-round progress. It is useless to think about why and how it happened; who is guilty for the present status of the State. We are not going to achieve anything with this,” stated Soren in the press release.

According to Soren, political rivalry should not become a hurdle in the development of the State. “I respect political rivalry if it is in the interest of the State,” he said.
