Delhi Congress leader and former MlA Jai Kishen on Wednesday said remembering Quit India movement at this juncture also should make citizens responsible towards issues like secularism and tolerance.
"We must not forget that some organisations have no role in freedom struggle," Jai Kishen said while addressing a rally in Bawana bypoll in support of Congress candidate Surender Kumar. He said a lot of atrocities were committed on the protesters, but no one stepped back. He said country should not forget the Gandhi family’s contribution.
