Bengal which has been on top of the ladder for the past a few years in terms of atrocities against women once again hit the headlines when in two unconnected incidents members of fairer sex ended up at the receiving end of brute masculine notoriety.
The first incident took place at Mahisadal on Thursday where three drunken youth riding a swanky car first eve-teased three schoolgirls and then took out their anger at the trio by knocking them down when they dared to protest.

Cut to Kolkata where a dengue patient admitted to a private hospital with dengue fever and low platelets count suddenly went berserk and beat up three nurses with such ferocity that two out of the three women were currently fighting for their lives with brain injuries.
