Three persons have been held in connection with the gangrape of a 24-year-old woman at Salt lake's Sector-V in a moving vehicle on Sunday. The BJP staged a protest at Salt lake and questioned why it had taken "so much time" for the police to nab the culprits. Bidhannagar city Police Commissioner Javed Shamim said the three accused were nabbed from a hideout at Haroa in North 24-Parganas District. Meanwhile, the medical examination of the victim confirmed rape.
