In an unusual outburst, yesteryear script writer Salim Khan on Monday hit out at the country’s legendary sprinter Milkha Singh for his opposition to his actor-son Salman Khan as a goodwill ambassador of the Indian contingent to 2016 Rio Olympic games.
Taking to twitter in defence of Salman, father Salim Khan slammed Milkha for his criticism that the actor should not have been chosen as goodwill ambassador for the Indian contingent at the Rio games ahead of sport personalities like PT Usha, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Ajit Pal Singh, who richly deserved the honour. In a series of tweets, Salim Khan said: “Milkhaji it is not Bollywood it is the Indian Film Industry and that too the largest in the world.”
