Come January and Gujarat will be the most happening State in the country. Apart from Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) and Vibrant Gujarat to be organised by the Government of India and Government of Gujarat respectively, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will organise an important State-level ‘Karyakarta Shibir’ after a gap of 15 long years.
Already two important events have been announced in the beginning of 2015 -PBD and 7th edition Vibrant Gujarat - in which the President of India Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate. PBD has been planned from January 7 to 9 and Vibrant Gujarat is planned from January 11 to 13. Both the events to be held at Mahatma Mandir in the State capital Gandhinagar, will be attended by a large number of delegates from across the globe.
Ahead of these two global events, RSS Shibir will be organised from January 2 to 4 at Dastan Farm on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. “Top brass of the RSS including Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and members of RSS executive committee will remain present. Besides, top brass of various sister concerns of the RSS will also attend the Shibir,” said a source in Gujarat unit of the RSS. According to him the venue for the Shibir is named after lakshmanrao Inamdar (Vaki Saheb) - guide and mentor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
