In a pro-active measure to neutralise ‘anti-RSS’ lobbies in the United Kingdom and elsewhere abroad and  to project  an ‘inclusive image’ internationally, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat would attend ‘Sanskriti Mahashivir’ organised  next month in london by  Hindu Swayem Sevak Sangh (HSS), the RSS wing in UK and USA.

The HSS which is celebrating its 50 years of formation in UK will focus on reversing  attempts to paint RSS "in sectarian light" by  interested group, particularly ‘the left groups’ in Britain often alluding to 'Nazi profile' , according to sources in Sangh Parivar.

Bhagwat would be attending the Mahashivir from July 29 to July 31 which is usually held on 'Gurupurnima'.  Though talk of Bollywood stars like leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio, the American actor of 'Titanic fame', is talked about as an invitee to the event, several noted political leaders ,legal luminaries, industrialists, media barons  and  British politicians are expected to attend the mega-event that may have a heavy presence of ‘Swayemsevaks’ from over 100 branches of HSS including whites.

Dominated by Gujarati Patels, the HSS is headed in UK  by Harisukh Bhai Patel. HSS weekly  'Shakhas'  in UK are attended by many white British families with focus on 'Yoga', Health awareness and community programmed. Asked as why British families are attending HSS 'Shakhas', RSS leaders maintained that they were attracted to it on account of its stress on "family bonding".

Sources said HSS in a way has foiled attempts by 'anti-India lobbies' to play Pakistan as a victim in the Kashmir tangle which was raised in British Parliament last year. HSS 'successfully contacted ' may British leaders- mainly conservatives- to have Indian view on Kashmir presented.  Reacting to Britain's exit from European Union, they said " a new of nationalism sweeping in England BritExit is good for Indian settled there", they said.
