In an effort to eliminate contact and reduce risk to its medical staff, the Podar Hospital introduced Robot ‘Gollar’ at its facility at Worli in south-central Mumbai on Tuesday.
Announcing the introduction of Robot ‘Gollar’, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray tweeted: “Robot ‘Gollar’ has reported on duty at Podar Hospital in Mumbai! It’ll get you food, water & medicines. This is an important step in our #WarAgainstVirus as it will eliminate contact and reduce risk for our medical staff in Covid Facilities”.
